Wells Walking Tours Tour around parts of Wells that were of particular interest in 1918 with special mention of some of the women of the era, at 10.00, starting outside Wells Museum and finishing at St Cuthbert’s Church. Wells Town Hall Open 10.00-16.00. Most ground floor rooms open. Local history displays, incl. a brand new exhibition on “The Mills of Wells”. Also “Women’s Suffrage in Wells”, “Women’s Firsts”, “Women of Wells: A Selection from History”, “Women at Wells Charter Fairs”, railways, Millennium Tapestry; and at 12 noon, the suffrage playlet “A Chat with Mrs Chicky”.

City of Wells Almshouses Open 11.00-16.00. Refreshments incl. lunches. Ukelele band from 14.30-15.00.
